Description
In 45 years of flintknapping, this is the only purple chalcedony I’ve ever come across. It was found in Indonesia and tends not to occur in real large pieces, but this 2.5″ Northern Sidenotch is an excellent example of the rich color and gorgeous translucency of this rare material. How much longer it will be available is unknown at this time.
