Bison Antiquus Dagger

Nearly 20,000 years ago a species of bison roamed the North American west called Bison Antiquus.  It’s thought to be the ancestor of the bison of today, but was somewhat larger.  The handle of this unique stone dagger was created using a fossilized rib of Bison Anitquus, dating approximately 18,000 years.  It is capped with bison horn from its modern relative and Bloodwood.  The blade is flintknapped from a gorgeous piece of Jafar Jasper from India.  It came together nicely to a length of 10 inches.
