What you are looking at here is a very special opal point. It is a 6.5 karat black opal from the famous Lightning Ridge mine in Australia. Before I knapped this point I spent almost 5 months just looking at it and studying it. I'm more than happy with the results. The broadflash fire it displays is mesmerizing. This is definitely not a casual piece of jewelry but a one of a kind piece that can't be replicated. I'll be happy to sell it to an individual who can fully appreciate and enjoy it, but at the same time will be glad to continue just looking at it, myself. Sounds silly but that's what opals do to you.
