The knapped pieces of this diorama are made of Fancy Jasper and Jafar Jasper from India, Black Lagoon Jasper and Ocean Wave Agate from Madagascar, and Mookite from Australia. The stars in the scene are actually knapped from Australian precious opal. They are composed on a medium of felt, protected in a custom-made hardwood display case.
