These art pieces are a unique challenge to the modern flintknapper.  They are an expression of flintknapping art.  Made from exotic jaspers, agates and obsidian they exhibit not only the striking colors and patterns of the stone but the natural beauty of the creatures they represent.

The dioramas pictured here take that a step further and convey a picture story.   Flintknapping dioramas is taking the art of flintknapping where it has never been before, to my knowledge.   Each diorama measures 8" x 10" and is protected under glass in a custom made wood display case.  I hope you enjoy them and would welcome your thoughts and feedback.  If you would like your imagination to challenge my skills, let me know your idea.
