Arrowheads & Points
If you would like to see a detailed close-up of any particular arrowhead or blade that interest you, please shoot me an e-mail and I will be glad to oblige a.s.a.p.
Clovis, Scottsbluff, Dovetail, E-notch, Cahokia - These are a few of the names given blades and points that were used in North America throughout the stone age. A certain amount of mystery surrounds each. How and where did the many point types originate and why? Why do some point types show a consistently high degree of flintknapping skill, even art, while other are decidedly crude by comparison?
The answers to many questions remain elusive. One thing is clear. Modern flintknappers like myself are compelled by that mystery. I am particularly enthralled by creating points from the most beautiful, gem quality stone in the world. What you see on this page is actually a collection of my work from the last several years. It represents hundreds and hundreds of hours of work. It also represents the very best material culled from literally tons of stone. Each point is unique. I hope you will enjoy viewing my work and that something here will appeal to you because of your own unique tastes and inclinations.
Point replicas begin at $20. {Custom work is available upon request.}
